２０１４年にイスラエルがガザを攻撃してから８年が経った。イスラエルの圧倒的な火力で２２００人余りが犠牲になったガザ攻撃も「ホロコースト」であることは間違いなく、ネタニヤフ元首相などイスラエル右派勢力のパレスチナ人に対するヘイト的な感情も背景にあったことは間違いない。ガザでは、その後も経済封鎖が続き、世界銀行の報告書によれば失業率は４０％以上と世界で最も高く、特に深刻なのは若者の失業率が６０％以上にも上るということだ。この報告書では、紛争やイスラエルによる経済制裁がなければ、そのＧＤＰは報告書が出された時点の４倍は高いだろうとも見積もられている。２００７年以来続くイスラエルのガザ封鎖によってガザのＧＤＰは半減し、８０％の住民が経済援助を受け、ガザの多くの子どもたちが２０１４年のイスラエルのガザ攻撃によるＰＴＳＤの発症に苦しんだ。
多くの無辜の市民の犠牲をもたらしたイスラエルのガザ攻撃は、ジェノサイドであり、まぎれもない戦争犯罪で、日本はイスラエルとの防衛協力は撤回すべきだろう。
