正義の戦争よりも不正義の平和のほうがいい／An unjust peace is better than a just war – Hiroshima ‘black rain’

　アイドルユニット「キャンディーズ」のメンバーだった田中好子は２０１１年に他界したが、彼女が主役を演じた作品に今村昌平監督の「黒い雨」（１９８９年制作）があり、この作品で田中好子は第１３回日本アカデミー賞（１９９０年）の最優秀主演女優賞を受賞し、迫力のある演技をした彼女は女優としての評価を高め、定着させることになった。

　「黒い雨」は井伏鱒二の同名作品が原作だが、田中好子の役どころである高丸矢須子の叔父閑間重松（北村和夫が演じる）は、「正義の戦争よりも不正義の平和の方がいいということが、なんでわからんのじゃ」と語るが、ここに原作者、井伏鱒二の強いメッセージがある。

　「黒い雨」は、７０年前の８月６日、瀬戸内海の小舟に乗っていた矢須子が原爆投下後に降った黒い雨で放射能に汚染され、原爆症に苦しむ姿を描く。入浴して髪を梳かすと、毛髪が抜け落ちるシーンなどが衝撃的で、戦後も縁談を断られるなど、被爆者の女性としての苦悩も描かれる。

　イスラエルが８月上旬、パレスチナのガザ地区を空爆し、９０人超が死傷した。子供たちや女性の犠牲を含むイスラエルの空爆はいつもイスラエルの安全保障のためと言って行われる。

　アンヌ・モレリの『戦争プロパガンダ　１０の法則』（草思社文庫）には「われわれは戦争をしたくない」「しかし敵側が一方的に戦争を望んだ」「この正義に疑問を投げかける者は裏切り者である」という章のタイトルがある。

　これらの表現は、「台湾海峡危機」などを強調し、安保法制を推進するなど勇ましいことを口にしてきた日本の政治家、あるいはそれを支持する「識者」たちにも「正義の戦争よりも不正義の平和の方がいいということが、なんでわからんのじゃ」と問いたい。
